has served in many capacities over the last thirty years. Jack has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. His experience in code enforcement with the City of Ann Arbor includes sixteen years as the Director of the Department, service as the Assistant Director, Plan Reviewer, and Construction Inspection Supervisor. Jack has extensive knowledge of code enforcement and the construction codes having served on numerous BOCA and CABO code committees. He served on both the BOCA Board of Directors and on the State of Michigan Construction Code Commission for six years each. He is a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers, NFPA, and an honorary member of BOCA, BOCM and SEMBOIA. Jack is currently a part-time instructor at Washtenaw Community College for the Construction Institute teaching various courses for code enforcement personnel.
